As the novel COVID-19 situation evolves, Gulson Canberra wish to let our customers know that we are currently open, however, our dealership is taking this situation very seriously and have the following precautions in place to ensure potential risk is minimised for everyone that we come into contact with.
As a part of this we ask for your cooperation with the following.
WE NEED YOU TO DO THE FOLLOWING:
- Please wash or sanitise your hands before engaging with our team members. Sanitiser is provided and the washrooms are fully stocked.
- If you are exhibiting flu-like symptoms or have any reason to suspect possible Covid 19 infection, please do not enter our premises. Please call our switch and we will guide you over the phone: 02 6280 6755.
- Follow any directions that are issued by the local or federal government as they occur.
WE WILL DO THE FOLLOWING:
For your protection we are performing the following preventative measures:
- Entry doors, washroom doors and high activity touch points are all sanitised every hour.
- All service cars driven by staff are done so wearing gloves. New gloves are used on each car serviced.
- All vehicle keys will be sanitised at beginning and end of each interaction.
- All service loan cars and demonstrator vehicles have the seats, steering wheel, door handles and centre console wiped with surface sanitiser on return and prior to any new loans.
- Follow any directions that are issued by the local or federal government as they occur.
TEST DRIVES
Test drives are now by appointment only. This is to ensure that we are able to properly sanitise our vehicles before and after each customer demonstration to ensure our mutual safety. Home demonstrations can be arranged. Click here to find out more.
COURTESY BUS
Our courtesy bus is operating on an emergency basis only. We ask that you make your best efforts to arrange to be collected when dropping your car off for service. For emergency cases, we will only allow 2 passengers on the bus at any one time in order to meet the current government distance regulations. This is subject to change at any time and as further social distancing restrictions are released.
We are minimising any physical contact and us such we will not be shaking hands or sharing any non-essential items.
We ask everyone to exercise due care and responsibility in order to maintain a safe environment.
We are constantly updating our procedures as this situation develops and we are taking all steps recommended by the Government as the minimum precautions.
